Why Israel?
God Has an Everlasting Covenant with Them
The Lord has made an everlasting covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
"I will bless those that bless you..." Genesis 12:3
"I will establish my covenant between me and you...for an everlasting covenant..." Genesis 17:7
The Lord keeps His covenant.
"...He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant..." Deuteronomy 7:9
"My covenant I will not break..." Psalm 89:34
The Lord will fulfill His promise to gather, restore, and plant Jews in Israel.
"He will...assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah..."Isaiah 11:12
"Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the ends of the earth..." Jeremiah 31:8
"I will give you a heart and put a new spirit within you..." Ezekiel 36:26
"And so all Israel will be saved..." Romans 11:26
What Is the Believers Responsibility to Israel and the Jewish People? 
To pray for the nation of Israel.
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you." Psalm 122:6
To comfort the Jewish people.
"Comfort, yes comfort My people! says your God..." Isaiah 40:1
"Even so these [the Jews] also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they [the Jews] may also obtain mercy." Romans 11:31
To help bring the Jewish people back to the promised land.
"See, I will beckon to the Gentiles...they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders." Isaiah 49:22
"...For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers." Jeremiah 16:15
